SPEAKER BIO:

Patti Smith serves as Chief Executive Officer of DairyAmerica, a wholly owned subsidiary of California Dairies Inc, the world’s largest manufacturer of non-fat dry milk and exporter of milk powders to over 50 countries. An accomplished leader with more than 30 years experience in dairy and protein-based ingredients. Under Patti’s leadership and direction, DairyAmerica has embarked on a transformative journey to a value-centric organization. Prior to joining DairyAmerica in 2020, Patti held the position of President and CEO of Valley Milk, LLC. In addition to Valley Milk, she has held key leadership positions with Fonterra and Roquette America throughout her career. Patti is actively engaged in the dairy industry and is currently Secretary for America Dairy Products Institute (ADPI), Vice Chair of the Trade Policy Committee for the US Dairy Export Council (USDEC), and is a cleared advisor for Agricultural Technical Advisory Committees for Trade (ATAC) in Animals and Animal Products. Patti is a graduate of Iowa State University, with a bachelor’s degree in food technology.
