Summer, a native of Fresno, California, has intricately woven a purpose-driven narrative through her life's journey. Growing up in the heart of the Central Valley, her trajectory shifted dramatically when she became a caregiver for her mother-in-law, sparking a deep-seated commitment to supporting the aging community.
In 2021, Summer embraced a pivotal role as the Marketing Director at Oyuna Hospice, recognizing the opportunity to shed light on the indispensable role of hospice care. Driven by a profound sense of purpose, she dedicates herself to aiding individuals and their families during challenging times.
Beyond her professional commitments, Summer is a dedicated community advocate. Actively participating in college advisory boards, she supports initiatives delivering essential resources to local seniors and fundraises for the Alzheimer's Association. Currently serving as the President of the Fresno County Women's Chamber of Commerce, she fosters an environment of empowerment for women in the business community.
Her exceptional contributions were acknowledged with the Trail Blazer Award in 2019 within the senior industry, and in 2021, the business community recognized her achievements, featuring her in the prestigious business journal.
Outside her roles, Summer is a proud wife and mother of three incredible boys, accompanied by two spirited dogs and two assertive cats. During leisure moments, she finds joy in family trips to the beach and Yosemite, relishing the flavors of delicious sushi, and exploring new recipes.
