Clovis Community College will be requiring proof of vaccination and photo ID for vaccinated individuals or a negative Covid test for unvaccinated individuals. Test must be taken within 72 hours of the event. A table will be set up in front of the entrance and visitors will be asked to show their vaccine card and ID photo prior to entering the meeting.

SPEAKER BIO:

Armen Bacon writes (and lives) with uncensored passion, heart and sense of urgency. Her words stir the soul and have been praised as “pulling us all a little closer to each other.”

Armen made her authorial debut with the powerful memoir, “Griefland - An Intimate Portrait of Love, Loss and Unlikely Friendship,” a story of two women whose words and astonishing friendship helped them survive the ultimate loss. Her second book, “My Name is Armen – A Life in Column Inches,” contains a decade’s worth of essays on family, friends, love and loss. Her third book, “My Name is Armen – Outside the Lines,” takes readers beyond the margins of everyday life – always circling back, returning home – celebrating the resilience of the human spirit. 

Determined to escape pandemic despair, she recently co-authored “The Words Between Us – A Pandemic Abecedarius.” Armen is busy working on her next book project, “Daring to Breathe.”
