Laurel Boylan is the founder and Director of God’s Waiting Children, a Clovis-based non-profit organization that does orphan ministries and adoption services. God’s Waiting Children is an all-volunteer organization with no paid staff. Laurel and her husband John have adopted 5 children – 1 was a domestic adoption and 4 of the children are from orphanages in Ukraine. The kids currently range in age from 6 to 10. Laurel spent 14 years working for American Ambulance as a paramedic, dispatcher, flight medic, and Director of Public Relations. Then she spent the next 10 years as Marketing Director for an Alzheimer’s Assisted corporation. Laurel and her husband founded God’s Waiting Children in 2006 as a result of bad experiences with their first Ukraine adoption.
